How the Barber Shop came to be

The origin of the barber shop goes back to the 14th century when Babur defeated the barbarians and came to North India for a nice cup of coffee. But then, his long mustache and beard was becoming a nuisance while drinking and he commissioned to build the first babur shop where he could get his mustache and beard trimmed. Centuries later, the word babur got morphed into babar, then barbar(people went there often na), and then finally barber which is our today’s barber shop.

Remembering Bird…
“Music is your own experience, your own thoughts, your wisdom. If you don’t live it, it won’t come out of your horn. They teach you there’s a boundary line to music. But, man, there’s no boundary line to art.”
- Charlie Parker
